When you join Full Life Care’s AmeriCorps team, you become part of our dedicated and experienced organization that is committed to improving the lives of adults with serious illnesses or disabilities.

AmeriCorps members make a difference during their service. Our AmeriCorps team addresses challenges in our community by leading activities to engage isolated adults and introduce them to effective programs that promote health, wellness and independence.

Our Team

Our members facilitate health education and chronic disease management classes, lead art programming, work with volunteers, teach tai chi and physical activity classes, and lead programs for low-income older adults and adults with disabilities in the community. We place our members in positions throughout Full Life Care’s programs and partner organizations.

Many of our program alumni have gone on to become social workers, doctors, physical therapists, disability advocates, and community health leaders.

This is a great opportunity for recent college graduates or young professionals in transition who would like to build experience in a health-focused setting, working directly with the community at regional nonprofit organizations.
