We're often surprised at how tolerant society can be when it comes to ageism. Ageism is defined as stereotyping and discrimination against individuals or groups based on their age. In the nearly forty-year history of Full Life Care, the agency has had exactly two executive directors. One was Betty Sanders, who started the program with a small group of friends and supporters. Then Nora Gibson became executive director in the early 1990s. But beyond our leadership, there is another secret to our success.
